HydroTrack: Never Forget!

You know you should drink more water. The problem was never knowing — it's remembering, in the middle of everything else. HydroTrack keeps the count and does the remembering for you.

What it does

Log a glass in one tap

The whole app is built around the two seconds you'll actually give it.

One-tap logging

Set your usual glass and bottle sizes once. After that, drinking water is a single tap — no keyboard, no menus.

Reminders that fit your day

Choose the hours you want nudging and how often. It stays quiet outside those hours, so it doesn't wake you or interrupt a meeting.

A goal that suits you

Set your own daily target rather than accepting a number some average decided for you.

Your history, plainly

See how the last days and weeks actually went. Enough to spot a pattern, not so much that it becomes a second job.

Stays on your phone

No sign-up, no cloud account. Your intake data lives on your device and nowhere else.

Metric or imperial

Millilitres and litres or fluid ounces — whichever you think in.

HydroTrack help

Common questions first. If yours isn't answered here, email me directly.

I'm not getting any reminders.

Notifications need permission from iOS. Open Settings on your iPhone, find HydroTrack, tap Notifications and make sure Allow Notifications is on.

Also check that Focus or Do Not Disturb isn't running during the hours you set, and that the reminder window inside the app covers the times you expect.

How do I change my daily goal or glass size?

Both live in the app's settings. Adjusting the goal affects today onward — it doesn't rewrite days you've already logged.

I logged the wrong amount. Can I undo it?

Yes. Open today's log and remove or edit the entry.

Will my data move to a new phone?

HydroTrack keeps everything on the device, so it moves if your iPhone backup does. Restoring a new phone from an iCloud or computer backup brings your history with it.

Deleting the app deletes its data. There's no copy on a server for me to restore, which is the trade-off for not asking you to make an account.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet — it's planned. iOS came first.

How much water should I actually drink?

That depends on your body, your climate and your activity, and I'm a developer rather than a clinician — so HydroTrack lets you set your own target instead of inventing one. If you want a number tailored to you, ask a doctor or pharmacist.
