Tactical strategy board · Counter-Strike 2
Find out if the strat works before you run it.
Draw where all ten players move, what they carry and when the utility goes out. Then press play — Tactix simulates the round and tells you who wins each duel, and why.
What it does
A radar drawing tells you nothing. This answers the question.
Most tactics tools let you draw arrows on a map image. That shows your idea — it doesn't test it. Tactix runs the round.
Ten players, fully specified
Set the path each player walks, the weapon they carry and the timing of every movement. Both sides, all ten, on the same timeline.
Utility on a clock
Place smokes and flashes and set the moment they land. The simulation treats a smoke as real cover for exactly as long as it exists.
Sightlines that respect the map
The engine works out who sees whom first, and whether a wall or a smoke breaks the line before the shot ever happens.
Two levels, properly separated
Eight of the twelve maps have distinct upper and lower levels. A player on a bridge cannot see the one in the tunnel underneath — the simulation knows that.
Duels resolved, not guessed
Weapon range, reaction time and who spotted whom first decide each engagement. You get an outcome with a reason attached.
Offline, no account
Everything runs on your device. No sign-up, no server, no strategy of yours leaving your phone.

Tactix help
Common questions first. If yours isn't answered here, email me directly and I'll come back to you.
When is Tactix coming out?
Tactix is in active development and hasn't been released yet. The simulation engine and the map set are the bulk of the work. When there's a release date I'll post it on this page.
Which maps are included?
Twelve maps at launch. Eight of them are modelled with separate upper and lower levels, so vertical separation is handled properly rather than flattened onto one plane.
How accurate is the simulation?
It models sightlines and occlusion from walls and smokes, weapon ranges, reaction times and first-contact ordering. That's enough to tell you whether a plan is geometrically sound — whether your smoke actually covers the angle, whether your player arrives before theirs.
It is not a replacement for the game. Recoil, movement inaccuracy, aim skill and human decision-making aren't simulated, so treat the result as a check on the plan, not a prediction of the scoreline.
Do I need an internet connection or an account?
No to both. Tactix runs entirely offline and never asks you to sign up. Your strats stay on your device.
Will there be an Android version?
Planned. iOS comes first; Android follows once the app is stable on the App Store.
I found a bug, or the simulation did something I didn't expect.
Please tell me — this is the most useful mail I can get. Include the map, roughly what the setup was, and what you expected to happen instead.
If a sightline resolves in a way that looks wrong, describe the two positions involved. Those reports are what the engine gets tuned on.
